Long before the BEYOND 2000 age of Cd’s, ipods and mp3’s there lived a little forgotten creature known as a cassette tape. If you are old enough you will remember the good old days where you would set up some cassette decks and get crossfade fever mixing yourself some dedication mix tapes. So where are they all now? All we know is Spanish designer and architect Vanessa Moreno stumbled across a stash and came up with CASSETTE IS NOT DEAD!

A whole bunch of old school tapes in all colours and beats reborn in the form of some funky ass lamps. They look absolutely TRON lit up, with the heart of cassette exposed to give it that extra design feature and dimension. Damn…wish we had have thought of it. =)  You can call it sustainable design, or recycle by design. We just call it cool!
